Privacy Policy
This policy explains how NIBIR MOTORS PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use this website or contact us, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Effective date: 19 September 2026 · NIBIR MOTORS PRIVATE LIMITED
1. Who we are
NIBIR MOTORS PRIVATE LIMITED is an authorised Tata Motors passenger-vehicle dealer (GSTIN 19AADCN9038P1ZO), with its registered office at Kadbeltala, Balidanga, Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal – 742101. We operate this website as a marketing and enquiry platform for our showrooms in West Bengal. We are the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us when you use the contact form, an enquiry or booking tool, WhatsApp, email or a phone call — such as your name, mobile number, email address, preferred showroom, the vehicle or service you are interested in, and any details you choose to share (for example old-car details for an exchange, or a preferred date for a service).
Information used only in your browser. Tools such as the EMI calculator work entirely in your browser to help you compose an enquiry — the figures you enter are not stored by us unless you choose to send them to us. We also store a small preference (such as light/dark theme) locally on your device.
Limited technical information that your browser sends automatically (such as device and browser type) may be processed by our hosting provider to serve and secure the website.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and share prices, offers and availability.
- To arrange test drives, bookings, service appointments and callbacks.
- To help you with finance, insurance, exchange, registration and after-sales support you request.
- To maintain our records and comply with applicable law.
4. Your consent
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit an enquiry or contact us, and for the legitimate purposes permitted under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer (see below); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
5. How we share your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to fulfil your request, namely with:
- our showroom teams handling your enquiry;
- Tata Motors Limited and its authorised financing, insurance and service partners, where you ask us to facilitate finance, insurance, exchange or service;
- service providers who host or operate this website on our behalf; and
- government or regulatory authorities where required by law.
Finance, insurance and similar services are provided by banks, NBFCs and insurers under their own terms and privacy policies. Enquiries made through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp/Meta’s own policies.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to serve your enquiry and our ongoing relationship, and to meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you may:
- access and obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction, completion or updating of your data;
- request erasure of your data;
- withdraw consent; and
- nominate another person to exercise your rights, and seek grievance redressal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer using the details in Section 12.
9. Cookies & local storage
This website uses minimal browser storage for essential functions and to remember your theme preference. We do not use it to track you across other websites. If analytics or advertising cookies are added in future, this policy will be updated and consent obtained where required.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children without verifiable parental or guardian consent as required by the DPDP Act.
